🎓 Security Bodyguard Course Entry & Enrolment Requirements
To enrol in the NSW Class 1B Bodyguard Licence Course, you must:
- Check eligibility via NSW SLED Fact Sheet 6
- Hold CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations OR a valid NSW Class 1 Security Licence (excluding 1E)
- Complete the SLED-Mandated LLN Assessment
- Provide 100 Points of NSW Police approved Identification.
- Hold a valid Advanced First Aid Certificate (HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid or complete it with us – additional fee $150 applies)
- Attend all required face-to-face classes
- Have a valid USI (Unique Student Identifier) – Get your USI here
- Important: No refunds after course commencement. A $180 admin fee applies if you withdraw after completing the LLN assessment.
📘 NSW Bodyguard Course (1B class) Units & Delivery
This course combines face-to-face training with self-paced learning and assessments. All sessions are conducted in line with NSW SLED assessment standards.
Units of Competency:
- CPPSEC3122 – Plan provision of close protection services
- CPPSEC3123 – Implement close protection services
Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a Statement of Attainment from CPP31318 Certificate III in Security Operations, covering these two core units.
